English Language Arts Editing for Grades 3 to12
McGraw Hill Education Publishers
I helped launch MHE’s Acuity assessments, which were administered to grades 3 to 12 across the U.S. In addition to writing original, non-fiction and poetry passages while aligning questions and answers to each State’s learning standards, I created and documented a public domain research and grade-level alignment process for fiction that helped to streamline the work of several editorial teams. Managing Editor for Silicon Valley Digital Marketer
QuinStreet
QuinStreet is a digital performance marketing company that helps consumers find brands and provides brands with high-quality sales prospects. I started there as a Contributing Writer for their home services and education verticals. I was quickly promoted to Managing Editor, a role in which I implemented SEO strategy; led a team of freelance writers; collaborated cross-functionally to plan content and build out websites; and created text and voice-over content for our internal Help database.
